Junkie SF 20...

I was hesitating a long time, but I've decided to take the big step: I'm going to build a foil!!! ("matras")
I came into contact with Jeroen and he put me on the trail of Sieger. He's a VERY experienced foil builder (together with Jeroen) and I asked him what I should do... He came up with the Kitejunkie SF20 and I could even borrow his templates!! ("mallen") I picked them up and Sieger gave me a very helpful & elaborate explanation on building foils. The picture right shows a 3D view of the kitejunkie

Check out Sieger's site for all the info on the Junkie SF20...

The next day I went to buy the Chikara (rip stop nylon, "spinnaker nylon"). My luck, Red was sold out... but I still could find some at an other shop.
The day after I decided to make a "trial" version, just 2 cells at the end of the foil with some pieces of Chikara I had lying around and see where the trouble was. I'll try to give some explanation too (but don't shoot if I had it wrong, this is my first time too!)

After the trail version I started with the real thing (see steps 1,...)
Content:
Trial : a trial version
Step 1 : transfering the template to the fabric
Step 2 : making the first cell
Step 3 : making the second cell
Step 4 : the third cell
Step 4 : number four

to be continued...
