BEAN Pictures
On this page I will collect pictures of other people's Bean. Send me an email if you got a nice pic. I copied (with permission from the owners) some of the pictures of stuntkites and flying to stuntkites.
A very beautiful Bean 8.0 from Stan Wetzels. The C-Quad (2.2) is homemade.
May names stuart the boy in the pic is my son Sam aged 5. Taken on the field
behind my house, and yes its big enough to buggy on, as we do most nights
(there are 3 of us).
Some information - I live in Lancashire not far from Hinsdale beach. The
bean is the second one I have built, the other being the 1.5m version, made
from the sk3 book.I have just used the pictures to make it.
I have also built a 2.8 sputnik,2,3,4m eliminators, a 5m Gamma and in the
middle of a 5m junkie I also own a 1.7ekko (brilliant in a high wind) and a
3.5m Razor (awesome speed and power) the razor is what we should be trying
to achieve with the home made foils. I understand the junkie comes close.
The 2.5 bean is very good, but I have not used it for a while, and I am much
better with the buggy know so I will give it a spin when conditions are OK.
Buggy is a flexifoil 2002, I am making a composite wide axle with 20mm
bearing wheels at present. A friend of mine as a wide flexifoil axle and as
bent 2 bolts so far.
