TIP 1 Separate fabric for the coupe

Another way of producing the curved shapes at the sides of the Chikara tiles is making a separate "Coupe" tile from Chikara. This tile is then stitched to the straight edge of the main tile. Example

TIP 2 Cordura i.s.o Dacron for the spar tunnels

Creating the spar tunnels (see step 7) is a difficult job. It is now done bending a 5 cm dacron strip. Next time I will use a 7 cm Cordura strip which I will fold 3 times, and then stitch. (picture TBC)

TIP 3 Different way of applying Kevlar

I don't like the way the Kevlar is put on the spar tunnels. Next time I will create the tunnel, and then fold the kevlar at the ends around the tunnel (so you will see clearly the kevlar from the outside). I know this is less pretty, but it will be a lot stronger...
